IT Support Executive
An IT Support Executive which is dynamic and responsive towards the support duties, taking care and ensuring support to the clients are promptly updated. Flexibility and forward thinking to face challenges in our fast pace environment. Proactiveness is key to our teamwork and success.
Job Description:-
- To ensure all user computers are in good condition and provide support assistance in case of any problems.
- To troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults for all users.
- Provide computers with specific applications and configurations for new users.
- To install or upgrade software to all users, if there is a specific update required.
- Offering technical guidance, training and explanation to users on products or services to help customer use them effectively.
- Monitor server, networking and internet to ensure VPN connection is always up.
- First level checking for 3rd party devices (printer, bar code scanner, phone) for reporting to office if device facing issues.
- Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- To provide on-line / on-site (Sarawak Area) IT technical support.
- Accomplish any IT-related task assigned by Supervisor.
Responsibilities:-
- A friendly and positive attitude with polite and professional service
- Candidate must be able to perform good end-user support in areas such as troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issue, network equipment issue and other related IT issues.
- Training: Technical training will be provided.
- Able to take call and standby support for rotation basis and must be available whenever your service is needed during public holidays.
- Willing travel to around Malaysia Area.
Requirement:-
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Good command of written and spoken in both Chinese and English.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
- Good knowledge on Windows 10/11 & Windows Server Operating System.
- Good Personality.
- Patience in dealing with customer concerns.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to Communicate in English, BM & Mandarin.
- (We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients)
- Have some basic knowledge of programming languages and Linux.
- Able to work independently and as a team player.
- Possess own transport.
